Mac’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament

What started off as an early morning on that Monday, September 21, ended as a fun-filled day of golf, good food, brews, and awards. While overlooking the meticulous design of the River Hills golf course, you could hear the Mac’s staff prepping the Hogzilla for the day’s events. The golfers began piling up at the registration table so they could sign in and grab their breakfast while waiting for their tee time. Once tee time had arrived, golfers took to their carts with determination in their eyes and headed for what they thought would be a victorious day. While making their way around the course, cart girls were readily available to aide with ice cold beverages. Morning quickly passed as lunch was prepared for the golfers. Our Mac’s chefs slow-cooked pork on the Hogzilla so it immediately melted in your mouth. The juicy taste of the pork was complemented by our flavorful sides. While the sun began to set over the River Hills Country Club signaling an end to the tournament, all golfers were invited to feast at the celebration dinner. Hardy laughter was exchanged while everyone poured over their food and drinks. Victories were highlighted during the awards ceremony, though the biggest victory of them all was raising money to benefit the battle versus Mesothelioma.
